After a lovely lunch at Sand Moor Golf Club Drew and Robert organised the annual handover when the baton was passed round all previous Presidents and finally handed over to the new one, Patricia Waite-Wright.
Julia’s final job was to award the plate and tankard to Jenny and Adrian who had been a great help throughout her year. She also presented a tankard to Michael Coles for the ‘Best Attendance’ record.
Patricia thanked Julia for her excellent year and presented her with an Orchid as well as her ‘gems’ of lapel badge and gong.
Patricia also welcomed Drew as the new Secretary.
Our next meeting will be a ROAD meeting when we will be discussing possibilites of getting out into the Community.
