Our final meeting of a very successful 50th year was held at Sand Moor GC and after are usual excellent meal a famous (or should I say infamous!) Geoff Tabron Quiz, this time all about 50. Who knew how to convert 50 into a binary number?

Thank you to everyone who has participated, organised and enjoyed our 50th celebratory year and a special thank you to President Patricia who has led us throughout.

We have been thrilled to be able to donate £1000 to each of the 6 chosen charities and on the last evening we were able to present Michael Tarbatt, a Community Fundraiser for Sue Ryder’s Wheatfield Hospice with his checheque for Sue Ryder.

Next year Chris Walbank takes the helm. Good luck Chris and here’s to our 51st year!
