Our support of this initiative continues. John, who leads this has written:

You’ll be interested to know that our club Lendwithcare account had accrued £146.97 in repayments by yesterday (Saturday), enough for us to reinvest in four new entrepreneurs – which Pran, Robert and I have duly done. All four candidates want to employ others in their communities, so that the benefits are spread among more people.

This means that to date, since we started with our £50 donation in 2017, as a club we have helped

425 entrepreneurs, and

1174 family members, creating

1145 jobs and helping a total of

2744 people across the developing world.

Our 11-member lending team (the club being one member and the other ten lending as individuals but attributing their loans to the club) has helped a resounding

1605 entrepreneurs, and

4612 family members, in the process creating

1757 jobs, thus helping a grand total of

7974 people

As we keep saying, little acorns and mighty oaks!

By the way, none of our club’s borrowers has ever defaulted on their loans.

We now have £14.97 left in the kitty, which we will allow to grow from incoming repayments until we have enough to lend to several people again.

Best regards,

John Hafseth
