Aleks Fagelman came to give us a most interesting talk about Armley Mills at our first meeting in August. Aleks who is the curator of the Museum gave such an enthusiastic presentation that I’m sure most of us will be going along there to see for ourselves.
We also had three more presentations.
We welcomed Beryl Lee as our 39th member of Headingley. Beryl has been associated with Headingley for many years as her husband, Peter was a member many years ago. He was also President in 1997. Welcome Beryl!
President Julia also made Patricia Waite Wright and Gill Pinches Paul Harris Fellows “in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relation among peoples of the world”.
